User oriented documentation added
In one of my recent blog posts I asked for volunteers to help with our documentation needs. Jonathan Dahan kindly offered his help and wrote a short FAQ, a document on some of our features as well as a basic installation guide.

You can find all the new documentation here.

I'm still looking for help with documentation, be it new documentation or updates to existing documentation so please contact me if you have any ideas in this regard.

Great news. I actually installed last night before this was put up, but I hope it means Exherbo will get more adventurous users. (Hopefully you want that by now)

Yes, I'm hoping to get a few more users and hopefully scale up the contributions in the form of documentation updates as well as new or updated packages.

Put the documentation in SCM

Maybe it's a good idea to upload the files used to generate the documentation to git and let people post patches in bugzilla.

Thanks for your input. The good news is that it's already that way but that we just haven't been very good at advertising it.

You can find it in git://git.exherbo.org/docs.git and git://git.exherbo.org/www.git respectively. The docs repository is also browsable at http://git.exherbo.org and the www repository will likewise be browsable as soon as fix a small issue preventing it from showing up.

I'll see if I can write a blog post later today describing where to find the documenation and our website setup in a few details.
